The admissions procedure for The Marin Preparatory School encompasses the following steps:
- Parents should participate in a group tour of the school. Click to see the latest list of our tour dates ».
- Application packets are available at the school when you come for your tour or will be mailed within one week to the parent’s home.
- Please complete the school’s enrollment application and return it to the school, with the Application Fee, by January 8, 2011.
- Once the school receives the enrollment application, parents will be invited to meet with the school administration.
- Students transferring from another school will need to have their current school complete a student evaluation form and have it sent to The Marin Preparatory School by January 8, 2011.
- During January and February, prospective students will be asked to schedule a two hour visit to the school, join in school activities, and participate in developmental screening or educational testing.
- The admissions committee of the school will review all completed applications. Decisions regarding enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year will be mailed the third week in March.
