Throughout the school year, Marin Preparatory offers speakers and educational series that are relevant to parents navigating the elementary school years. Topics may include:
- Child development
- Discipline strategies at home
- Setting boundaries
- Beginning Spanish language classes for parents
MPS is also a member of SPEAK (Speakers for Parents, Educators, And Knowledge), a coalition of Bay Area independent schools that presents noted educational speakers throughout the Bay Area.
In addition, the Head of School holds annual meetings on the developmental stages of each grade level.

Mondays – After Comunidad (Oct. 31, Jan. 23, Mar. 6, May 1) 8:45am-9:15pm
Chats with the Head of School – Stay after Comunidad for a cup of coffee and an opportunity to chat informally with the Head of School. This is a wonderful way to stay caught up on all of the exciting happenings at MPS. These chats will occur four times a year on the dates listed.
