Marin Preparatory School Además 2018 Summer Camp At a A Glance:
5 weekly sessions
Hours: 9:00 A.M. — 4:00 P.M. (Students may begin to arrive at 8:30 AM)
Camp tuition is $325 per week
Extended Afternoon Care Offered: 4:00– 5:30 P.M. ($50 per week)
Ages served: Entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
Camp registration and payment are due by June 1st
Cancellation is required in writing 1 month prior to start date of the selected week(s).

Week 1: June 18-22, Pasaporte
Welcome Aboard! This week, the Little Travelers will go around the world and study different cities that make our earth a very special place. Campers will get to explore some of the world’s capitals, learn the continents, and see and create some pretty iconic skylines.
Week 2: June 25-29, Retiro
This week, the Little Writers will have their own “writing and reading” retreat. Campers will get to read their favorite books and share them with others. They will practice some writing, editing, and revising skills and apply them to their own stories, and then share them and have fun creating amazing characters!
Week 3: July 9-13, La Casa de Colores
This week, the Little Artists will do their own color study. Campers will learn about what colors represent, as well as how to make colors (going from primary to intermediate), and learn about different art mediums to express their creativity.
Week 4: July 16-20 El Jardín Botánico
This week, the Little Gardeners will get to study plants and flowers! Campers will explore our natural world through
its patterns and colors. They will connect to nature in a colorful and peaceful way through drawing, coloring, painting, and planting.
Week 5: July 23-27, Ciudadanos del Mundo
iHola a todos! This week the Little Global Citizens will get to learn about cultural aspects of the world we live in. Campers will question, “What makes a person a global citizen?” They will also be exposed to different cultural projects from different places of our world!
