The Week Ahead > KindergartenThis Week in Kindergarten
March 8th
Coming up this week in Kindergarten, students will be learning about the life cycle of a butterfly! We have been learning about the parts of a flower and the life cycle of a plant. We will use this knowledge to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. In Math, we continue to learn about time and strengthen our addition and subtraction skills. As it is very important for young children to know their home address and the family phone number, we will be working on memorizing these this week by making stationery and phone books. In Art this week, students will use digital cameras to take photos. They will then translate these photos into works of art. Please send your home address and ONE parent phone number to school with your child on MONDAY, 3/8/2010. This is going to be a wonderful week!
All the best,
Señorita Jess
